Project Overview
The Office of Student Identifiers Registrar (OSIR) sought to enhance self-service through their digital channels by improving the user experience on their website.
Approach
Discovery Research:
Conducted user interviews and usability testing with various customer segments to identify pain points and barriers in the current digital journeys.
Analysis and Communication:
Developed personas and current state user journeys to effectively communicate user challenges and opportunities for improvement to the client.
Key Improvement Areas:
Identified critical areas for enhancement, including content, information architecture (IA), site performance, and user onboarding processes.
Design Solutions
IA and Content Strategy:
Created a new website information architecture (IA) and content strategy to address identified issues and improve the overall user experience.
Wireframes:
Developed high-fidelity wireframes for key user journeys, menu design, and essential site features and functionality.
Outcome
Implemented design solutions aimed at improving the website experience for both new and existing users, with a focus on promoting online self-service.
